Hants and Dorset TTA is an organisation representing companies in the South of England supplying timber and timber related products. They include Timber Importers, Sawmills, Timber Merchants, Agents and Builders Merchants.

The Hants and Dorset TTA also have affiliated members in sectors associated with the timber trade such as shipping companies, ports and logistic operations. HDTTA is part of the UK Timber Trade Federation and is a reliable first point of contact for anything to do with wood.

The Associations activities include:-

Working through the UK Timber Trade Federation with government and the Central Point of Expertise (CPET) on various certification schemes as Government buying departments are responsible for purchasing about 40% of the total UK timber consumption.

Working with schools, colleges and actively supporting local community projects to ensure that the next generation is educated about timber.
